Terms of Service

1. The service

Aftertask is a workspace for task tracking, project snapshots, and AI-assisted task generation. The service is operated by Vistarsoft Technology Limited Company.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 (or the digital-consent age in your country) to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for all activity under your account.
• You may invite teammates into a workspace. Workspace owners are responsible for managing workspace access and content.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not break the law, infringe IP, or upload malware.
• Do not reverse-engineer, abuse rate limits, or attempt to break the service.
• Do not use the AI features to generate prohibited content.

Fair use. Plans described as offering "unlimited" seats or projects are provided on a fair-use basis. "Unlimited" means we do not set a fixed numeric cap for ordinary team use — it does not permit usage that places an unreasonable or disproportionate burden on the service relative to comparable customers (for example, automated bulk account or project creation, reselling access, or workloads well outside ordinary task-management use). If your usage materially exceeds normal patterns, we will contact you to agree a reasonable arrangement before taking any action.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Subscriptions and credit packs are sold and processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record or authorized reseller. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to the transaction itself. Refunds and cancellations are handled per our Refund Policy.

AI credit packs are non-refundable once any credit is consumed. See the Refund Policy for details.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you put into Aftertask. You grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and display it solely to operate the service for you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

6. AI features

When you use Notes-to-Tasks or other AI features, the relevant text is sent to a third-party AI provider (described in the Privacy Policy) for processing. AI output is a suggestion. You must review it before applying any changes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions you make solely in reliance on AI output.

7. Termination

You may stop using Aftertask at any time and may request account closure by emailing [email protected]. Workspace owners may delete a workspace from workspace settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Data is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

8. Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid for Aftertask in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
